In loving memory of Britty and her passion for animals...

At the Brittany Burge Foundation, we’re raising funds to help those in treatment with the care of their animals.

Our beautiful and courageous Brittany lost her battle with drug addiction on October 22, 2017. Britty loved her dog "George" so very much and often delayed treatment until she could arrange and/or afford the cost to kennel her four legged friend.

Addiction and chemical dependency have reached crisis proportions. We believe in doing our small part by supporting those in treatment by easing the burden of caring for their animals, raising awareness and helping to eliminate the stigma surrounding mental illness and addiction.

Please join us by supporting our efforts to make a difference in the lives of people battling the disease of addiction.

Our Mission

The Brittany Burge Foundation is an advocator of the human-animal bond.  The foundation gives peace of mind to those in treatment for drug or alcohol addiction by assisting with foster care or defraying kennel costs until their owners can be reunited with the companion animals that they love.

The Brittany Burge Foundation was created as a way to honor the life and legacy of my beautiful daughter.  She had a huge heart and adored all animals (but most especially her dog, George). At the age of 27 she lost her ten year battle with bipolar disease and drug addiction.

We now strive to do our part in helping those battling the disease of addiction. While patients are in treatment, we assist with the care of their animals by defraying some of the kennel costs. Our decision making process is by need and available funds. We strive to ease the stress of in-patient treatment (in some small way), promote awareness, and help to de-stigmatize addiction and mental illness.
